Baccō Estate presented at ProWein in Düsseldorf for the second consecutive year. Once again, we had a most successful show and spent some time afterwards in the Netherlands, Belgium and London cementing other relationships with importers and customers.

One of the goals of Baccō this year is to contract long-term importers into the UK and EU regions. We now have the volume of stock to offer continuous supply over the vintage.

We presented the yet-to-be-released 2021 vintage of reds and the 2023 Vermentino, 2023 Rosé and 2023 Chardonnay. All stood their ground and impressed with quality. Unfortunately we have run dry on the Vermentino and Chardonnay which in a way is “sweet pain”.

The positive is the demand for the wine, but we lose the ability to continue the growth of those wines in the market. Both the 2024 Vermentino and Chardonnay are tasting exceptionally good as they develop and will be released in due course. The good news is their volumes are hugely larger than the previous years as our vines are now coming into full production.
